Belize: Culture

This is Francisco, who we fondly refer to as San Francisco. We instantly fell in love with him and  he hung out with us pretty much the entire trip.

This guy stopped on the street to chat with us. The people of Belize are very friendly and it is common in their culture to make conversations with random strangers. It is much different from our American culture where people mostly stay to themselves.

We were sitting on the curb waiting for our ride to get back so I made the most of my time and the view.

This is how we traveled when we were not walking or in a 15-passenger van.
