From what you can see on my blog, I’m sure many of you have figured out I have a passion for traveling and missions. I started a non-profit, OneLight Media, to provide promotional material to non-profits through photography, video and design. It is a non-profit that helps non-profits. I would love for you to check out my redesigned website and the new work I’ve posted. I am in the process of raising funds and support to move to Nicaragua and Honduras for a few months to work with organizations I connected with on my last trip.

The Longest Week of Our Lives

I wrote some of this in my last post, but it apparently didnt work. So I will update you now….

So, on Wednesday, May 1st our well broke. We toughed it out using gallons of water to shower until Friday evening when we decided this was ridiculous and called Linda Gable (her and her husband, Tommy, started NewSong Mission in Nicaragua) and she let us stay the night at her house. I never knew a shower could feel so good.

Nicaragua is Amazing!!

Nicaragua….wonderful!

Today was our first trip to the base in Candelaria! AND we got to see Brianna!! I havent seen my roommate in like 3 months so it was wonderful! Its so surreal that we’re actually here, but its amazing at the same time. It was so great to meet the kids today and hang out and try to speak their language. Im gradually catching on to Spanish and Im sure it will get better!!

If we dont drink water there will definitely be dehydration issues!
